The first mention of formating the Hunting Club "SZARAK" in Golub-Dobrzyn was observed in the post-war era in 1947-48, when Franciszek Ptaszyński with a group of colleagues began to set up hunting in the district of Golub-Dobrzyn. In result the new Hunting Club was created which included hunters from the entire region. Hunting club had its first registered office in Radomin.
In 1957, the existing Hunting Club splited into two new clubs.
The one was named "Szarak" No. 40 in Golub-Dobrzyn.
The Founders of KL "SZARAK" was 20 hunters. One of them - Zdzisław Kowalski is still the member of the club.
The newly formed club received two hunting districts No. 116 and No. 117 of a total area 8,540 hectares. It was located near Golub-Dobrzyn, Radomin Municipal, Municipal and District Wąpielsk Brzuze in the former voivodeship of Bydgoszcz.
